Friday 26th October - walks **** – Hemley and Newbourne – sunny
periods.
A day of mainly wall to wall sunshine with a good breeze but being Maeva
day no windsurfig for me, I did head down to the Cliff top car park to
catch the chilly sunrise before taking more pics at Brackenbury, The
Fludyers and The Manor, sadly none made it on to the telly! Maeva arrives
around 11 in a pink frilly tutu and helped Granny hang out the washing
before making a Birhtday cake for her Dad who is coming round for a
Chinnese this evening! I pack lunch as it’s Maeva’s favourite thing, a
picnic in the van and we drive over to Hemley Church and manage to park
sheltered from the keen breeze:) After lunch we walk down to see the
horses, Maeva is no keen when they walk over to see us, we look round the
church before driving over to Newbourne Springs where Maeva uses her camera
for the first time, it does not take her long to get the hung of that!!! We
walk along the wooden walkway that follows the cystal clear stream, sadly
it’s too deep for Maeva’s little wellies! We turn into the sheep field,
sadly no sheep and we collect leaves for a later craft, we come out neat
the pub where we find some puddles to Maeva the jump in! She falls asleep
on the way home which bucks her up as her Mum and Dad for a lovely family
evening, another top Friday with Maeva:)
